Responsibilities
- Oversee all general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Lead the development of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses to provide strategic financial insights.
- Enhance treasury and cash management functions, ensuring timely customer collections and effective risk management.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, establishing robust internal controls to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Support customer service teams in addressing financial inquiries and maintaining high service standards related to billing and rebates.
- Mentor and develop a diverse team across accounting, finance, data, and customer service functions, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- CPA certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of accounting leadership experience.
- Proven expertise in financial management, including experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or food & beverage sectors.
- Public accounting experience.
- Familiarity with rebate accounting and revenue recognition (ASC-742).
