Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee tax reporting projects, delivering real-time data and analytics to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
• Manage tax deliverables and collaborate with external service providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• Lead strategic tax initiatives, staying informed on state and local legislative changes to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and review US federal, international, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy in filings and payments.
• Analyze cross-border acquisitions and dispositions to determine appropriate tax treatment for US purposes.
• Draft communications and correspondence for senior stakeholders and tax authorities, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
• Oversee audit responses and documentation, ensuring thorough preparation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• 7-9 years of relevant tax experience, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Demonstrated initiative, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a busy tax season.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with financial investment issues and familiarity with tax software or ERPs (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
• Master’s degree in a relevant field and CPA certification preferred.
