Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and close monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements, to provide insights into business performance.
Monitor and update key performance indicators (KPIs) to support management in identifying trends and making informed decisions.
Oversee due diligence efforts with potential capital sources, enhancing financial strategy and growth opportunities.
Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Assist in pricing, margin analysis, inventory management, and cash flow forecasting to optimize financial health.
Process payroll and manage tax filings, ensuring compliance with legal requirements across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Must-Have:
Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
7+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in the fast casual restaurant industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups).
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, Toast, and Paychex.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
