Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate and compliant financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee audits and address technical accounting issues, maintaining robust internal controls.
• Handle revenue recognition and royalty/participation accounting, particularly in a multi-entity setup.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and consolidations for domestic and international entities.
• Collaborate with finance leadership, legal, and external advisors to meet operational and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Extensive experience in multi-entity and consolidation accounting.
  • Proficiency in managing intercompany transactions and foreign entities.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting systems like NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • CPA certification or a background in public accounting.
  • Experience in the entertainment, media, or gaming industries.
  • Familiarity with inventory accounting due to merchandise and physical product entities.
