Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, optimizing cash flow management and banking activities.
• Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation, analyzing cost variances to maintain operational excellence.
• Direct budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare regulatory filings and internal reports, ensuring compliance with audits and tax requirements.
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Experience in inventory-based or distribution environments.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC-742) and acquisition integration.
• Advanced analytical skills and experience with variance analysis.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within accounting.
