Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling to optimize agency operations and revenue generation.
- Conduct detailed revenue modeling, focusing on wastewater revenue collection, which constitutes approximately 70% of agency income.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on Capital Improvement Program (CIP) planning and effective capital allocation.
- Support long-term financing initiatives, including state grants and bond coordination, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Oversee a team of direct reports, fostering cross-functional partnerships to drive district-wide financial initiatives.
- Present complex rate structures and financial recommendations to Boards and oversight committees, ensuring transparency and clarity.
- Guide customer service investigations and revenue collection operations, maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships.
Qualifications
- Must-Have: Strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including rate modeling and long-term forecasting.
