Responsibilities
- Develop and manage corporate, departmental, and project earnings and cash flow forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.
- Analyze historical financial performance to identify key trends and drivers impacting business operations.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets, ensuring alignment with resource utilization across business units.
- Contribute to the quarterly close process, focusing on Assets Under Management (AUM) and fundraising reporting.
- Support corporate financing activities by preparing materials for lenders and rating agencies.
- Evaluate new business development opportunities and assess their financial implications.
- Conduct profitability analyses, including expense allocations, margin metrics, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- 6-8 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, investment banking, or consulting.
- Experience in the financial services or asset management industry.
- Proficient in building and working with complex financial models, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and tact.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis software, such as Workday.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or MBA.
