Budget Manager (Finance Director)

• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective budget planning and resource allocation.
• Implement and enhance financial systems and processes, including ERP solutions like SAP or NetSuite, to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
• Lead the annual budget review process, coordinating input from various departments and ensuring timely completion.
• Support acquisition integration efforts and revenue recognition processes, ensuring alignment with ASC-742 standards.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in budget management or financial analysis, preferably in a public sector or large organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with acquisition integration and revenue recognition processes.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and practices.
