Overview
Join a dynamic and innovative Corporate Accounting team as a Senior Accounting Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in the successful deployment and enhancement of Oracle Fusion applications, specifically within finance and accounting modules. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of Oracle Fusion implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across functions to drive systems integration, process optimization, and enhance accounting and finance applications.
- Conduct post-implementation evaluations to optimize system scalability and long-term value realization.
- Gather and translate detailed business requirements into functional specifications for Oracle Fusion applications and related reporting.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring systems meet business requirements and accurately record accounting entries.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any identified issues, providing ongoing support and training for end-users.
- Act as a liaison between Finance/Accounting teams and IT to troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- 12+ years of progressive corporate accounting and ERP implementation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA designation or MBA preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and government contract accounting (FAR/CAS).
- Significant experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (Oracle EPM, FCCS, RMCS, ARCS).
- Proven project management skills with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in an SEC publicly traded company environment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
