Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Fund Administrator on daily cash management, including capital calls, investments, distributions, and management fee calculations.
- Calculate carried interest for the funds.
- Prepare financial statements and partner capital reports for internally managed funds.
- Engage with the Fund Administrator regarding externally managed funds and co-investments.
- Support the coordination of audits for funds and co-investments.
- Assist in the closing of investment deals.
- Oversee and review valuations of the private equity portfolio.
- Manage bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts.
- Process wire transfers and related journal entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor the accounting mailbox and respond to investor inquiries on a daily basis.
- Help prepare presentations and quarterly letters for limited partners.
- Assist with various fundraising requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Approximately one to three years of experience in public accounting.
