Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions for the fund and any future investment vehicles.
- Collaborate closely with third-party administrators to promptly address accounting inquiries.
- Conduct thorough reviews of monthly reports from the third-party administrator, ensuring timely general ledger closures and supervising the incentive waterfall calculations.
- Compile monthly reporting packages, including commentary and return analysis, for review by the CEO and CFO.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements for distribution to investors.
- Generate monthly and quarterly compliance reports for lenders.
- Manage the accounts payable system to guarantee accurate and timely vendor payments.
- Coordinate with the Investor Relations team to ensure timely delivery of quarterly materials and account statements to investors.
- Work closely with fund auditors to facilitate the timely completion of annual audits.
- Collaborate with fund tax advisors to ensure the timely filing of annual tax returns and assist the CFO with tax planning as needed.
- Support the CFO with various ad-hoc projects and analyses as required.
- Assist in the planning of new investments and business ventures as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in a public accounting firm, focusing on audit, business advisory, or a similar field.
