Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial forecasting and long-range planning across multiple business units, enhancing forecast accuracy and visibility into performance.
Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance reports to executive leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.
Build robust financial models to facilitate scenario planning and operational insights, driving effective financial strategies.
Analyze project profitability and cost trends using job costing and percentage-of-completion (PCM) accounting to inform financial performance assessments.
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, optimizing working capital through effective billing and collections strategies.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies while supporting audits and external financial communications.
Foster strong relationships with finance and operational teams, aligning financial insights with project execution to promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within construction or project-based industries.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a deep understanding of job costing, WIP, and percentage-of-completion (PCM) accounting.
Experience in multi-entity or multi-business-unit environments, with a proven track record in supporting lender reporting and external financial relationships.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both financial and operational stakeholders effectively.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
Experience with acquisition integration and revenue recognition principles, including ASC-742.
