Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight of the global accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and compliant processing of vendor payments across multiple entities and geographies.
Design and maintain a robust internal control framework for AP processes, ensuring compliance with SOX, GAAP, and company policies.
Lead the continuous improvement of AP processes through automation and best practices, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Manage high-volume transaction processing while maintaining service-level standards and strong vendor relationships.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to AP cycle time, invoice accuracy, and compliance metrics.
Foster a high-performing AP team through coaching, development, and establishing clear performance expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Procurement and Treasury, to optimize vendor onboarding, payment execution, and compliance.

Qualifications

Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in a public company operating within a SOX-regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and financial close procedures.
Proven ability to manage global AP operations across multiple entities and currencies.
Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience leading global shared services or outsourced AP models.
Background in AP automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience in a multi-entity or global organization.
