Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Corporate Finance team. This pivotal leadership role will drive the execution of core FP&A processes and provide strategic financial insights that influence executive decision-making. Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and enhancement of FP&A processes, including monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all FP&A deliverables and financial models, driving timely management reporting.
• Oversee financial modeling and reporting frameworks to support scalable analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Accounting to align management reporting with financial statements and projections, including balance sheet and cash flow analysis.
• Develop and present executive financial narratives for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A).
• Analyze financial results to identify risks, opportunities, and trends, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Mentor and manage FP&A team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on professional development and quality output.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with demonstrated expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.
• Prior experience in managing teams and developing talent.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience in sports or college athletics finance.
• Strong presentation-building capabilities and effective communication skills.
