Responsibilities

• Oversee all general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Lead the development of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses to provide strategic financial insights.
• Enhance treasury and cash management functions, ensuring timely customer collections and effective risk management.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, establishing robust internal controls to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Support customer service teams in addressing financial inquiries and maintaining high service standards related to billing and rebates.
• Mentor and develop a diverse team across accounting, finance, data, and customer service functions, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• CPA certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in financial management, including experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or food & beverage sectors.
• Public accounting experience.
• Familiarity with rebate accounting and revenue recognition (ASC-742).
