Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for a private credit portfolio, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across various loan types, including Home Equity Agreements and commercial loans.
• Act as the primary liaison with third-party servicers, custodians, and banking partners to facilitate seamless operations.
• Oversee the onboarding process of loans, ensuring proper setup of loan attributes, collateral documentation, and servicing instructions.
• Monitor and process cash movements, including loan fundings, borrower payments, and cash sweeps, to maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile loan-level cash flows and resolve discrepancies with servicers and internal teams to uphold data integrity.
• Support transaction closings by coordinating operational diligence and ensuring timely data delivery.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability as the private credit platform expands.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5+ years of experience in private credit operations, loan operations, or asset management operations.
• Hands-on experience with Home Equity Agreements, commercial loans, or residential mortgage products.
• Strong understanding of loan servicing, cash flow mechanics, and collateral structures.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in managing large datasets.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with Non-Qualified mortgage products or home improvement loans.
• Familiarity with operational matrices and compliance monitoring.
