Responsibilities
- Calculate, analyze, and articulate portfolio and strategy performance across various levels, including security, sector, and asset class.
- Conduct multi-factor attribution analysis to provide insights into performance drivers and investment outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive performance data warehouse, integrating both internal and external data sources.
- Standardize and refine processes for performance data management, analytics, and reporting to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), preparing for verification and audit of performance results.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to validate performance drivers and enhance reporting materials for diverse audiences.
- Drive the development of performance analytics tools and dashboards, ensuring data integrity through reconciliation with accounting data.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in performance measurement, attribution, or a related analytical role within asset management or investment banking.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, and performance reporting methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with performance attribution systems (e.g., Bloomberg PORT, FactSet, Barra).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear narratives for various audiences.

- Experience with programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python, or R.
