Responsibilities
- Underwrite potential acquisition opportunities by analyzing comparable properties and market factors, while developing initial asset management plans.
- Perform financial modeling to align with the company's development, acquisition, financing, and disposition strategies.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain project proformas, budgets, and action plans throughout the project life-cycle.
- Provide financial updates, market research, and ad hoc reports to support decision-making for the team and executives.
- Identify acquisition opportunities through networking with brokers, developers, and other industry contacts.
- Prepare presentation materials for new acquisitions and conduct due diligence, collaborating with third-party specialists.
- Review legal documents and coordinate with attorneys to draft and update contracts effectively.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Math, or a related field.
- Three or more years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, asset management, or property management.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- General accounting knowledge and modeling skills.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Argus software.
- Background in multi-family or industrial real estate.
