Responsibilities
- Lead daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in high-volume transactions.
- Oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations, enhancing the quality of financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, consolidating data across multiple departments.
- Implement process improvements to streamline reconciliation and reduce close cycle time.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
- Utilize Epicor ERP to maintain data integrity and optimize financial workflows.
- Support compliance with US GAAP and internal policies while assisting in audit preparations.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Epicor ERP and AP automation tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with SQL, Python, or similar database languages.
- Familiarity with PCAOB audits or publicly traded company environments.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior accounting staff.
