Responsibilities
- Evaluate and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
 - Prepare and analyze operating expense trend reports and balance sheet account analyses, providing insights into financial performance.
 - Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial packages for partnerships, including income statements and supporting schedules.
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and support operational initiatives.
 - Conduct monthly account reconciliations and document fluctuation analyses to identify variances and underlying causes.
 - Act as the primary financial liaison between operations and finance, addressing inquiries related to payroll, accounts payable, and revenue recognition.
 - Participate in budget preparation and assist in the implementation of accounting policies to support best practices.
 
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
 - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
 - 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced accounting environment.
 - Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
 - Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
 - Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
 - Nice-to-Have:
 - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or similar ERP systems.
 - Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
 - Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
