Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions in the real estate sector.
- Assist in the evaluation and execution of transactions, including acquisitions and refinancing activities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with various teams, potentially rotating between acquisition and refinancing groups.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in private equity real estate, either as an investment analyst or in loan analysis.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable, particularly candidates transitioning from audit to transaction services.
- Consideration will be given to first-year investment banking generalists with a strong interest in real estate.
- Preference for graduates from the University of California system.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint and the ability to create impactful presentations.
- Experience with deal processes, including acquisitions, refinancing, and loan closings.
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and possessing a humble attitude.
- Potential for leadership and ability to engage effectively with clients.
