Description: **Responsibilities:**
- Execute fund accounting tasks for various funds within the organization.
- Analyze and rectify transactions through cash and asset reconciliations, escalating discrepancies within set limits.
- Update and manage fund sub-ledgers and general ledgers regularly.
- Compute management fees, review Geneva output, and handle capital calls and distributions.
- Prepare accounting packages, financial statements, and investor capital account statements on a quarterly basis.
- Assist with annual audit and tax processes both internally and with external accountants.
- Address ad-hoc requests from investors and management.
- Collaborate on special projects, document procedures, and conduct additional analysis as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or investment management accounting preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and dedication to quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with computer systems and general ledger software (knowledge of Advent Geneva is a bonus).
- CPA certification is advantageous.
